The CinciHOTTi format is very simple, with a very straightforward scoring system. Initial pairing was randomized, with subsequent pairings being based on wins/losses and points. Players are welcome to play as many rounds as they like against unique opponents, paired off by running standings where possible. (Points were scored for the opponent's Army Points taken, with a 2 point bonus for taking the opponent's General or his Stronghold.) The final winning order was determined first by win/loss record, then by points scored, then by Generals Taken, then by Strongholds Taken.

Though I played the first round with the Amazons of Northwyld, Ted Hall was able to take over from the second round forward to give a tired tournament coordinator a break.
